5.1 The courses are designed to suit a mid-travel trail bike, not specific XC or DH bikes.
5.2 Only one bike can be used during an event, including transition stages. Riders must start and finish on the same bike.
5.3 Bikes will be scrutinised before departing to ride the course.
5.4 All bikes must have bar plugs and be in perfect working order.
5.5 The Event Organisers / Officials have the right to deny participation in an event if they do not deem a bike to be of sufficient working order.
5.6 Each rider must be self-sufficient throughout the race outwith the technical zones. Personal responsibility and self-sufficiency are a large part of the spirit of Enduro racing, and riders are encouraged to carry adequate equipment for operating in mountainous environments.
5.7 Each rider should remember that they are solely responsible for themselves but are urged to help other competitors on course. If you do so, and it results in a marked increase in your stage time, you can repeat that stage.
5.8 Riders must always wear a fastened helmet whilst riding, including between stage transitions. It is strongly recommended that riders wear a full-face helmet.
5.9 It is strongly recommended that all competitors carry the following:

6.7 Missing, crossing, or passing the tape or gate on the wrong side will be deemed as cutting the course. Any rider found to be deliberately taking shortcuts on course to gain an advantage will be disqualified.
6.8 Liaison stages will be clearly marked to direct riders to the next timed stage.

8.3 If a Rider exits the timed stage course, they must re-enter at the same point and, if tape is broken, must notify the next marshal so the tape can be repaired as not to impact too many riders times. If a rider does not re-enter the course at the broken point, they will be deemed to be course cutting and disqualified.
8.4 Riders should not leave any rubbish along the route. ALL food wrappers, drink bottles, tubes etc must please be carried to the finish line and not discarded anywhere along the route. Anyone seen discarding rubbish will be disqualified and will not receive a time or position as applicable (take memories or photos, but leave only tyre marks).
