ROUND 1 - TWeeD VALLEY
31 May & 1 June
“World Class”, “Home of Scottish MTB”, “Jewel in the Crown” Call it what you want, the endless miles of Tweed Valley trails are the gateway drug for a whole generation of riders from Scotland and beyond, and a rite of passage for anyone picking up a mountain bike.
So where the old SES concluded, the new SES begins, with our series kicking off on legendary trails across the valley, kept running sweet by the Tweed Valley Trail Association.

ROUND 2 - LAGGAN
23 & 24 August
One of the original trail centres and riding destinations, Laggan’s legendary Wolftrax has been luring people into its rocky lair for over 20 years. With an epic mix of stunning highland scenery and techy rock features still delivering a riding experience like no other.
For SES Round 2 we’re working with the Laggan Dig Crew and Badenoch & Strathspey Trail Association to mix up these tried and tested features in ways that’ll keep you guessing.

ROUND 3 - BALLO
27 & 28 September
In the heart of the Sidlaw hills between the Cairngorms and the Tay, Ballo is one of the dark horses of Scottish MTB, with a head-twisting mix of roots, rocks, tech and flow, often all at the same time.
Maintained by the Tayside Trail Association, Ballo might be one of the less travelled Perthshire spots but for those in the know it’s a firm favourite.

ROUND 4 - AE FOREST
11 & 12 October
Another all-time classic of Scottish MTB, Ae Forest in Dumfries and Galloway has played host to more than few epic competitions over the years and 2025 is no exception. With trails and features covering almost everything we love about riding bikes, Ae has been a regular SES venue since the beginning.
Alongside Ae Bike Association our team are planning a classic course to wrap up the 2025 series.
